Open Window

Leaves fall upward from the ground
Catching fragile branches
Windless dances without sound
Autumn makes advances

(Setting sun at early dawn)
Sun lights hidden places
Passes by a doe and fawn
The crisping air braces

Sounds of honking overhead
Lonely embered fireplace
Cold enough to wake the dead
A chill upon my face.

This was a Weekly Challenge entry at TPS. The Challenge was to write a poem that read backwards.
